Who’s the Heavy Now?
I have become death; destroyer of worlds, or so goes the Hindu scripture attributed to Oppenhiemer’s crisis of faith in the Manhatten Project. It has become my mantra for my pending crisis in management. You see I am now in the position of having to address the poor performance issues of one of my staff. I hate this kind of crap and I hate having to be the heavy. Perhaps this is my karma for the transgressions of jobs past.
